Research And Optimization Of City Park Entrance Space

With the rapidly developing of domestic economy,more requirements for living environment were proposed by people themselves.City parks,as a transition between the natural and artificial environments,play an increase important role in improving people's living standards and quality.Entrance space of city parks acts as a “facade” of the inside,so the quality of its design plays a determining factor on images,subject expression and effective use of city parks.However,majority researches on city parks just stay in function layouts,general plans and landscape designs and relegating studies of city parks entrance space as an independent object,which leads to a traffic confusion and inhuman designs.These issues usually happened in city many parks entrance space.Consequently,it is obvious the importance of systematic studies of entrance spaces of city parks.The author selected Nanchang City as research area,studying on the mentioned below entrance spaces of city parks through literature review,filed research,inductive and others methods.The concept entrance spaces of city parks was elaborated in its first part,including the definition of city parks,the development process of city parks at home and abroad,and redefined the entrance spaces,which could provide solid fundamental knowledge for the content below.Secondly,the impact factors of entrances space of city parks have been studied,basing on theoretical knowledge: function,composition and visual scale.This work carefully selects,according to the nature of the park,its location and construction time,representative city parks on Nanchang City by filed research,especially on the space element and composition,traffic function and visual scale.And under the premise of having a sufficient theoretical knowledge,an objective review was conducted using method of comparative analysis.Then,the work summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the entrance space of Nanchang City parks.Finally,according to the universal problems of the entrance space of Nanchang City parks,the author proposes some optimization recommendations from the aspects of composites and elements,auxiliary,transportation and visual scale,which could provide some references for the practice and research of entrance space of Nanchang City parks further.The whole work presented a total of 53000 words,10 tables and 106 images(59 self-photos,39 owner draws and 8 from web).Entrance space city parks are a dynamic development process,which vary depending on requirements with new ages.The author hopes this work will be useful to the development of entrance space city parks in the future.Since now,the author would like that the entrance spaces will obtain more attentions.
