In recent years,along with the rapid development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)industry,both home and abroad have to UAV as a carrier,radar and other equipment mounted on the UAV,to achieve the overall light miniaturization.Since the advent of Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR),radar miniaturization has gradually become a trend,which combined with UAVs complement each other.Mini-SAR has the advantages of small size,light weight,low power consumption and high flexibility,so the study of Mini-SAR has far-reaching significance.In this paper,based on the Zynq-7000 series chip,developed a new architecture of the Mini-SAR digital processing components,and ultimately the entire Mini-SAR system carried on the UAV completed the flight test.The main research results obtained are:1.Firstly,this paper analyzes the demand of Mini-SAR in the present era,compares the research status quo at home and abroad,briefly describes the development status and application of Mini-SAR,and then puts forward the idea of developing a new type of MiniSAR Digital processing components.The architecture is based on the Zynq-7000 series chip,with embedded ARM core instead of FPGA + DSP traditional architecture,making the MiniSAR system to ensure the function of the premise of more light and miniaturization.2.A brief description of the Mini-SAR system is presented,the digital processing components are introduced,and the composition,function and technical indexes of the digital processing components are introduced.The main design process of the digital processing components,including the functional requirements of the digital processing components and the frame structure,details the Zynq-7000 series of core components of the digital processing components.The series is the first FPGA chip to integrate the ARM core.Finally,the synthetic aperture radar imaging algorithm and the design of the radar model were introduced.3.Completed the digital processing components of the hardware design and software implementation.First of all,the hardware part of the completion of the various modules and interface design,and then introduced the schematic design,PCB layout and follow-up design process.The software part of the ARM part of the preparation of the program,ARM processor in the control system process has a great advantage,and can handle complex high-precision algorithm.Followed by the FPGA part of the design,focusing on digital down this part of a detailed introduction,and Zynq-7000 platform development process was described.4.The design of the Mini-SAR digital processing components of the corresponding tests,including functional testing,reliability testing,imaging algorithm testing,to ensure that the system can work in a simulated environment.After the confirmation is correct,the actual flight test is carried out.After the image processing is carried out,the results are analyzed with MATLAB,and the results are in accordance with the requirements.5.Finally,a brief summary of the design and a new concept,hope that through a new generation of chips can further improve the performance and indicators of Mini-SAR.
