Smart cameras provide an excellent solution to solve the problems of modern industrial production with high-speed image processing and data transmission capabilities.With the rapid development of network technology,more and more smart devices are connected to the Internet.Data exchange is particularly important to smart camera in the scenary of Internet of Everything.This paper designed and implemented a smart camera communication program based on the serial and Ethernet solutions provided by the Zynq-7000 platform,which enabled the smart camera to communicate with traditional serial devices.The main work of this paper include:(1)This paper has realized the serial communication function of Modbus protocol and analyze the transmission process of the master node and sub-node of Modbus protocol,realize the common function code of the smart camera as the master node,configure the PLC device as the sub-node,test and verify the serial communication features.(2)The paper design the application layer protocol based on TCP to realize the reliable transmission function of XML file and remote communication function and design the protocol based on UDP to guarantee the stable and reliable transmission for the HD image.The paper design and implement the device discovery feature for identifying the smart camera equipment.(3)According to scenarios of the smart camera,the paper design communication program test cases and test all modules and performance analysis.Experimental data show that the smart camera communication program realized in this subject can accomplish the tasks of XML file transmission and remote communication.The retransmission mechanism,flow control and sequential transmission mechanism ensure the reliable and stable transmission of image data and the speed of image data transmission reach to 434 Mbps with directly connection.
