Design And Implementation Of Mobile Terminal Ground Station For Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

With the decrease of material cost and UAV technology continues to mature, the UAV has entered the stage of civilian UAV, civilian UAV's application is very broad such as UAV can be applied to air express transportation, environmental monitoring, pesticide spraying and so on.Mobile devices have been widely used in recent years, the convenience of mobile devices also allows people to get the latest information from the network at any time. At present, the main use of mobile devices system is the Google's Android system and Apple 's iOS system. Mobile device has the characteristics of visibility and convenience , civilian UAV uses joystick to make a control and lack of visibility, the characteristic of a UAV and mobile can be combined to assist UAV finishing flight assignment.This paper focuses on the design and implementation of a mobile terminal system of iOS based on the UAV Ground Station, to make a control on UAV and a real-time response of the current state of UAV.UAV Ground Station is mainly realized the following main modules:communication module, video capture module, map module, photo album module, UAV status module, UAV parameter setting module.In this paper, the research background and related technologies of the design and implementation of UAV Ground Station are introduced .Then according to the requirement of UAV and the development of the mobile terminal make an comparesion on the technology, and the module of the UAV Ground Station is designed and implemented according to the demand. At last, the application of the technology is discussed and summarized.
