With the increasing of resident travel demand and the acceleration of urbanization,urban public transport hub is playing a more and more important role in passenger transport organization. As a link between different transportation modes,urban public transport hub has a strong agglomeration effect.Its building or expansion may cause great pressure on the surrounding traffic system. In order to evaluate the impact of the hub’s building or expansion on the traffic system, the traffic impact analysis is usually required in early stages. According to the results of forecast and evaluation,corresponding measures should be adopted to minimize the adverse effects on traffic system. Therefore, the research on traffic impact analysis of urban public transport hub will provide a strong theoretical support for coordinating the relationship between hub construction and traffic system, improving the local traffic environment and ensuring the sustainable development of traffic system.Based on the above background, this paper analyzes the traffic impact of urban public transport hubs from three aspects: traffic demand forecast, single indicator analysis about traffic impact and comprehensive evaluation of traffic impact degree.Finally, the application of theoretical method is given. The main work of this paper is as follows:(1) The impact of urban public transport hub for the surrounding traffic is analyzed.Based on the particularity of traffic impact analysis for urban public transport hub, this paper puts forward the key points of traffic impact analysis for urban public transport hub, and summarizes the applicable methods of key points.(2) Considering the characteristics of the hub, the category-attracted rate method is selected to calculate traffic impact area; then, the contents of traffic demand forecast for the urban public transport hub and the influenced area are analyzed. Background traffic demand forecast based on OD matrix estimation and hub new generation traffic demand forecast are studied.(3) Single indicator analysis of traffic impact for urban public transport hub is conducted. Based on the traffic demand forecast results and the object of analysis, the indicators are selected from 3 aspects: static traffic, dynamic traffic and environment,Then, the standards and methods of traffic impact significance are studied.(4) The evaluation of traffic impact degree for urban public transport hub based on multi-level extension synthesis assessment is studied. According to the items of the single indicator analysis, traffic impact evaluation indicators system of urban public transport hub is built, forming 3 primary indicators and 10 secondary indicators. Then,the multi-level matter-element model of traffic impact degree is established based on indicators system. According to the different characteristics, the weights of the primary indicators and the secondary indicators are determined by AHP and combination weight approach of the subjective and objective respectively. Through multi-level extension synthesis assessment, determine the traffic impact degree of the urban public transport hub on the primary indicators and the overall related traffic system.(5) Combine theory with practice. Under the engineering background of Wangjing West transport hub, traffic impact analysis of the hub is conducted by using the method proposed. Eventually, the feasibility and practicability of traffic impact analysis method for urban public transport hub are verified by case study. |
