Centralized lubrication is a significant method to reduce friction,mitigate machine wear and save energy,thus has become one of the dominant supporting devices used for vehicles,machineries and production lines.With the development trends of energy saving and consumption reduction,stronger reliability and high-level of automatization,those equipment proposes a higher standard for lubrication.However,the current centralized lubrication system cannot be monitored in real time,and the fault cannot be detected and located quickly,which undermines the reliability of the equipment.Therefore,it is of great urgency to conduct research on the techniques of online detection and fault diagnosis of centralized lubrication system.The paper,on the basis of the AR60 and ALP100 centralized lubrication system products developed by Zhengzhou Autol Technology Co.,Ltd,adopts virtual instrument technology to research and develop the centralized lubrication detection and fault diagnosis system on the LabVIEW software development platform.The major achievements of the paper are as follows:(1)The paper studies various forms of centralized lubrication systematically and thoroughly based on engineering practices and quantity of domestic and foreign literature,analyzes the structural composition,working principles and controlling methods of the system,and summarizes both the advantages and disadvantages of different centralized lubrication systems.(2)Based on the idea of modularization and closed loop control,a single point electronic control grease distributor and a centralized lubrication system using the distributor are designed.The system wiring is simple and flexible,and the system is easy to be expanded,responds quickly and works with high reliability.It also has functions such as single point control,state feedback,and fault location.(3)Based on the virtual instrument technology,the structure of the existing centralizedlubrication system is improved,and the corresponding sensor and signal conditioning circuit are adopted.Through the application of the USB-6351 data collector of NI and the graphical development platform LabVIEW,the performance testing platform of centralized lubrication device is designed and developed,which enables the online detection and data recording of major functional indexes,including oil pressure,the motor current of the pump,the running state of the oil distributor.(4)The research analyzes the failure mechanism of the lubrication system based on the above-mentioned platform,builds a fault tree diagnosis model and a knowledge base,proposes the diagnosis method that combines the diagnosis tree analysis and expert system,and develops a fault diagnosis system interface of upper computer through LabVIEW.(5)Through experiments,the paper studies and analyzes the wave form rules of the pressure and the current characteristic curves under 4 typical fault conditions,and draws the characteristic parameters through comparative analysis with the distributor in-place signals.The result shows that the method championed in the paper is able to realize the detection and diagnosis of the operation status of lubrication system.The above research achievements may offer a theoretical and practical evidence for the research,development and optimizing design of new products of centralized lubrication and fault detection and diagnosis.
