The Study Of Railway Container Transport Organization Of Multimodal Transport

Container transportation is not only the product of modern transportation,but also the important direction of the modern logistics enterprises reform.Container multimodal transport can give full play to the advantage of door to door of container transport,it provide high-quality,efficient and systematic logistics customers with safe.In recent years,the development of container transport in the railway logistics has accumulated a lot of advantages,however,there are still some deficiencies in the field,it limit the development of railway logistics and container transport,leading to the gradual reduction of the share of the railway transport market,the railway transport advantages not fully play etc.Under the trend of the railway to the modern logistics enterprise reform,simple railway container transport has been unable to meet the demand of safety,high efficiency,convenience for customers.So,to strengthen the research on container transportation organization of multi modal transport is beneficial to improve the management level of railway container transportation organization of our country,and maximizing the social benefits of transport.At the first,this paper introduce the domestic and international research on container multi modal transport,expound the relevant theories and analyses the processes of rail-road combined transportation of container transport in detail.On this basis,research the organization of multimodal transport of railway container transportation.The main research contents include:(1)Based on the research of operation process of rail-road combined transportation,from the point of transportation cost,analysis the characteristics of multimodal container transport,the way of transportation of multimodal container transport and the main components of the rail-road combined transportation freight rate,system analysis on the transportation cost of multimodal transport network,especially study the calculation method of freight rate of highway and railway in the process of ail-road combined transportation;(2)Using SWOT analysis method to study the advantages and disadvantages of railway container transport involved into multimodal transport,summarizing the internal advantages and disadvantages,providing the support strategy for the development of railway enterprise.(3)Through the SWOT analysis,internal and external circumstances are analyzed systematically,and obtained four strategies of ST,WO,WT and SO.These strategies can help railway rely on internal strengths,overcome external challenges,take advantage of external opportunities,and weaken internal weaknesses,the railway plays a more and more important role in the multimodal transport of the container.
