Setting-up Of Main Protection In Relay Protection Of Double 600MW Coal-fired Thermal Power

Relay protection system has become an indispensable part of the power system,once the power system in the process of operation failure or abnormal conditions,the importance of relay protection system will be revealed.Nowadays,The operation of the power grid and power plants in China have been accompanied by the rapid development of power industry and the great changes happening at the same time,then in order to protect the safe and reliable operation of power systems to achieve the four basic requirements of relay protection,you need to relay protection of professional hardware technology and technology theory also improved simultaneously.Achieve correct reasonable action of relay protection device can eliminate accidents in the bud stage to prevent the further expansion,and also protect the safety of electrical primary equipment.As the most important electrical main equipment in the power plant,the structure of the generator is very complex and expensive,so the related protection configuration in the generator has always been the most complicated,and only through reasonable protection setting calculation and the correct configuration of the protection system in order to improve the safe operation of the generator and in the event of an accident to minimize losses.With the development of economic construction,the installed capacity of power grid in China is also increasing rapidly.However,600 MW coal-fired power plant,which is the main supply mode of electric power in China,is still an important part of the power system at this stage.Therefore,the 600 WM coal-fired thermal power plant analysis of relay protection system,summarizes the problems and gives suggestion on,still have common research significance.This paper is based on the analysis of the protection of two 600 MW coal-fired power plants in Datangwutan Power Plant.It summarizes the present situation of the relay protection system involved in the existing thermal power plant in China,and understands the configuration requirements of the relay protection system for the generator transformer unit and the auxiliary power system in the thermal power plant.Then,according to the requirements of Wangtan Power Plant's generator-transformer system and auxiliary power supply system,the calculation method of the protection involved is discussed.At last,some reasonable suggestions are put forward based on some problems found in the actual operation.Finally,some conjecture and discussion on the development of relay protection technology are made based on some puzzles.
