Tubular Belt Conveyor Application Research In The Large Thermal Power Plant

Tubular-Belt-Conveyor is a special kind of belt-conveyors,which developed from traditional trough belt-conveyors.It has the advantages of big inclination transportation,three-dimensional curve layout,to adapt to the complex topography,green environmental protection airtight transportation,and convenient two-way transmission and so on.In the mining,power plant,metallurgy,cement,garbage disposal and other industries for a variety of materials for the continuous transmission.The transport of bulk materials wrapped in tubular-belt-conveyor,is not affected by the rainy and windy conditions,avoid flying,scattered materials caused by environmental pollution,and accordingly reduce the pollution to the materials of external environment.Tubular-belt-conveyor will happen during the operation of conveyor belt in the transition section of running deviation,in the middle section to torsion,etc.,not timely correct will caused to as overlapping conveyor belt,tearing and other serious consequences.Togtoh power plant has been put into operation two tubular-belt-conveyor,one for the one or two gray base fly ash is transported to the plant ash storage field,one for the coal handling system outside the plant coal storage yard coal transported to the plant,were put into use in 2010 and 2012,respectively,the diameter of 400 mm 500mm,head and tail plane distance were 3.0km,1.1km.Two tubular-belt-conveyor and repeated transition section of conveyor belt deviation and pipe belt torsion problem in the actual operating process,the more serious problem is the two tubular-belt-conveyor in the head transition section failed to complete the expansion and lead to the occurrence of overlapping each time.But the most serious is the 2011 ash tubular-belt-conveyor deviation and return the supporting roller conveyor belt and anti damage cause the longitudinal tear of about 500 m,was forced to tear part of conveyor belt replacement,equipment cost and economic losses of up to 9 million yuan.This paper first introduces the work principle on the tubular-belt-conveyor,and analyzes its main characteristics,development and research status at home and abroad were compared,combined with the actual application analysis of a power plant that the tubular-belt-conveyor running resistance,diameter and belt speed selection,determine the length of the transition section and bending the radius of the support roller and the driving power to determine the selection and spacing selection,closely linked to the actual installation and debugging process of the pipe installation process of belt conveyor and debugging are discussed according to the focus on the analysis of the cause of belt torsion failure of tubular-belt-conveyor,and gives some analysis of conveyor belt torsion monitoring and correcting method.
