| Belt conveyor is one of the most important bulk cargo transportation equipment. The main advantages of it are strong transportation ability; large transmission range; convenient of loading and unloading; big safety factor; long distance of transmission; low cost of maintenance. In recent years, the mainstream of development of belt conveyor has become long distance, high speed and large-capacity, at the same time stability of the conveyor system in work condition is particularly important. The traditional research of mainly stability focus on the unstable situation, spread of dynamic tension, longitudinal vibration and transverse vibration and so on. This paper focuses on analysis of its dynamic characteristics from the viewpoint of system, thus put forward reasonable suggestions for the stable operation of the belt conveyor system.This paper would introduce virtual prototype technology into the design of belt conveyor, and introduce the theoretical foundation, application and prospect of the virtual prototype technology. The belt conveyor model of meeting the requirements of the validation an reasonable simplified its parameters is set up referenced on belt conveyor of coal power plant by using RecurDyn multibody dynamics simulation software. A few contents of the analysis is forced, for example:in the circumstances of use of Harrision curve tension of start-up and normal operation stage of belt conveyor is analysed and concludes that the maximum tension location; get the most practical and specific applications of traditional start-up curves under what conditions; get the role of gravity tensioning devices of the belt conveyor system and the dynamics response. The results have great significance for the design of the conveyor manufacture and use of maintenance. |
