The steam generator is the largest heat exchanger in the nuclear power plant.It is accompanied by the phase change with the secondary side fluid in the steam generator.At the same time,the steam generator is also the most important equipment in the nuclear power plant.It is important between the two circuits in the nuclear power plant which is the intermediate equipment.The main role is to export heat from the reactor and to provide the steam for the steam turbine.Increasing the steam generator steam mass fraction and heating efficiency will reduce the volume of steam generator and reduce the costs.The support plate in the steam generator has a great influence on the fluid and pipe.A new kind type support plate is proposed in this paper which can improve the heating efficiency and avoid thermal siphon.This type support plates and the traditional quatrefoil-shaped tube support plates are analyzed.In this paper,finite element analysis software ANSYS CFX is adopted.Now,with the rapid development of computer technology,the ANSYS CFX software is adopted to simulate the steam generator by more and more scholors.In this paper,the simplified models of two types of support plates are used as the computational domain.The methods of stretching and spliting are used to mesh the computational domain and the mesh quality is higher by “O-block” to ensure the accuracy of the results.Two-phase flow model is adopted to set the two types of support plates.Using some parameters of the real reactor as the initial conditions of the calculation and the saturation temperature of fluid is setted at the same time.What's more,the difficulty of this study is the existence of gas-liquid two-phase and phase-change process.The reliability of the simulation is verified by comparing the existing literatures with ANSYS CFX.Then,the temperature of fluid,flow velocity,vapor mass fraction and heating transfer coefficient of the steam generator with new type and traditional quatrefoil-shaped tube support plates.The outer wall temperature of the tube are influenced by the support plates.Compared with the traditional support plates,the new type support plates generate has lower temperature of primary outlet and higher heat transfer efficiency of the steam generator.The calculation of this paper will provide a basis for the structural design of the steam generator.
