The Research Of Climate Adaptability Of Traditional Residences In Sichuan Ch'iang Area

There are distinct regional characteristics of the Ch ' iang dwellings,and they adapt to the local climate in the form of ecological environmental protection.With the increasing demand for living quality,some traditional dwellings no longer meet the needs of people's thermal comfort,and even there are phenomena and problems that the new dwellings do not adapt to the local climate.As a result,there is an urgent need to improve.Therefore,it is the need of the society to improve the dwellings' adaptability to the climate,and residential renovation needs to inject modern architectural technology into the traditional art.Through the investigation,mapping and research on the Ch'iang villages in Sichuan,the designs and construction technologies of traditional dwellings to adapt to the climate are found and summarized from the environment of theirs.Based on the test research,some elated indoor environmental parameters are analysed,and scientific cognition of the indoor environment quality can be obtained.And the author puts forward the improved space and provides more quantitative technical parameters for the renewal design.Consulting the previous climate zoning method and the investigation of indoor thermal comfort and regional climate,this paper puts forward the climatic zoning of " Northern Ch'iang" and " Western Ch'iang" in the area of Ch ' iang nationality.And according to this,the author puts forward the renewal strategy from the site layout,architectural form,space structure and building structure.These strategies are used to put forward more scientific suggestions to design.In general,the compact layout is suggested to be used in Northern Ch'iang but scattered layout in Western Ch'iang.Well,in monomer,taking shelter from the wind,double windows,and ground insulation are suggested to be used in Northern Ch'iang,but paying attention to ventilation,drainage,and larger windows in Western Ch'iang.Furthermore,roof insulation,exterior insulation,and stairs matching norms should be done well everywhere.
