The Research On The External Space Design Of Chengdu North To Shantytowns Area

Tracking back to the history, urban regeneration accompanies the whole process of urban development has always been a powerful guarantee for the urban metabolism. When the city's physical space and the land expansion can not meet the current requirement of human, people will turn to urban regeneration by recombining the old functional area and space. China's city is no exception, In recent years, the urban regeneration work is particularly necessary with the rapid development of the process of urbanization in China. In this paper, the design of the outer space in the urban regeneration process of shanty towns in the north of Chengdu was discussed.This paper focuses on the design of the outer space of shanty towns in the urban renewal of Chengdu. Firstly, based on the domestic and foreign literatures on the design of external space, the relevant theories, definition, methods and classification theories about external space design has been summarized, and the implication of Graph theory , Place theory and Connection theory has been discussed. Secondly, the progress of the outer space of the shanty towns in the north area of Chengdu is summarized. By comparing the images of the unfinished shanty towns with those of the newly built squares, the satellite images,the field pictures and the graphic analysis (plane, elevation and profile) And other forms of the overall structure, functional structure, road context and spatial level as the main analysis of the overall structure of the two studies, and external space is divided into roads,squares, courtyards, from the basic characteristics, scale and proportion, interface and flow Line, landscaping and greening, and human activities. The evaluation method is used to evaluate the spatial quality. Based on the comparison, the characteristics and changes of the outer space before and after the regeneration are summarized. The influence of the external space design process Finally, on the basis of the above research, this paper summarizes the empirical design principles from the concept of humanization and regionalization, and takes the characteristics of exterior space before and after the renovation as the cornerstone, and combines them into the outer space of urban renewal process The design, to avoid weaknesses, to create a comfortable and pleasant external space environment, a reasonable design strategy.Chengdu North to Shantytowns Area 's transformation is the significant development of chengdu people's livelihood project,also is a microcosm of the nation's shanty towns transformation process, can show a shanty towns of the existing problems and contradictions.The research can explore the methods and strategies of shantytowns in China. This article through to its roads, squares and parks of external space design research, such as to apply this theory to practice,to create a more beautiful and pleasant space environment,improving the quality of urban culture and the material space.
