Primary Discussion On Mining Heritage Protection And Landscape Design

China is rich in mineral resources,due to the relatively less developed technology,the mining industry follows the extensive development mode,which has led the mining environments seriously polluted and destroyed,resulting in the ecological environment degradation,frequent occurrence of a series of geological disasters.This situation caused great dangers to people's production and daily life.In recent years,we have learnt from the experiences in mining management and the treatment in mine environment in other countries,summarized the environmental pollution and damages caused by mining activities,strengthened the environmental protection in mining construction and production processes.Through taking a series of measures for land reclamation on closed mining areas and building national mining parks,the mining environment rehabilitation in China has been made a rapid development,some precious mining sites have been well protected.However,due to a short history of related works and national mining park,the current problem is how to effectively enhance the mining heritage protection and reasonally develop and utilize these mining heritage sites.This paper deals mainly with the principles of mining heritage protection and landscape design.At first,the serious pollution problems of mining environments are analyzed,including the serious impact to ecology,economy and society of the resources-exhausted cities.Compared the present situation of the mining environmental management and the reconstruction of mining sites in China and other countries,the paper thinks that it is necessary to build mining park.In this paper,the importance and value of mining heritage protection are discussed,the primary principles of the mining heritage protection measures and landscape design are summarized,which are applied in the planning of Bao'anshan scenic area in Mangdangshan Mining Park,Hen'an province.Bao'anshan scenic area in Mangdangshan Mining Park is built on the site of limestone strip mining area.The main aim of design is on the mining landscape reconstruction and mining heritage protection.This design plan is focused on the mining heritage protection based on the geological elements such as strata and fossils,highlighted the scientific connotation in the mining park.Taking the geomorphological features of mining site into consideration,integrated with fossil,mining heritage,geological and cultural heritage contents,this mining park is designed based on the major theme of Cambrian strata and explosion,reflecting its scentific connotation in the mining park.This work is not only to protect the mining heritage resources,show the social civilization and the brilliant culture,but also provide an ideal place to enjoy mining heritage and scientific investigation.It is of great significance in transformation and social-economic development in the mining park site-Yongcheng city.
