Manhole is one of the most important auxiliary structures of urban road,which plays an irreplaceable role in the pipeline maintenance and drainage.More and more municipal manholes appear in urban roads with the development of economic society and urbanization,many of which are located in urban main roads,secondary roads and branch roads.The common existence of severe settlement of urban road manholes under the traffic cyclic load seriously affects the driving safety and city appearance,and brings unnecessary loss to our country.Engineers,from the point of construction,have summarized that it is the poor quality of backfill which results in the quick and severe sinking of manholes just after road traffic opening.Now because of the research of the cause and control factors of the uneven settlement is lacking,with the support of the theory is not enough for manhole uneven settlement,makes the repair of the manholes hard.So,the detailed and deep research on the deformation of the manhole becomes very importent.The government will put a lot of maintenance costs to repair the damage manholes caused by subsidence,and the old problems will continue to appear after the repair.So,it is necessary to solve the phenomenon of pavement damage caused by the subsidence of the manholes.Rapiding repair the damaged manhole,not only greatly shorten the traffic waiting time,but also brings the considerable economic benefits.The research work of this paper is summarized as follows:The overall structure of manhole and traffic load are simplified.The property parameters of the manhole and surroundings,the traffic load are given.The three-dimensional finite element model of the whole structure of the well,the backfill and the asphalt surface layer was established by ABAQUS analysis software.Through the static uniformly distributed load respectively in the center of the manhole and covers the edge of the simulation,making the analysis of stress and deformation of the manhole.Under the static load,mortar layer,the asphalt road surface and the surrounding backfill are the weak layer of the manhole,which will give priority to the other structures of the manhole.Based on the rapid repair construction of Shenyang manhole,the introduction of the rapid repair materials,summarized three main construction methods for the rapid repair construction of urban road manhole.As follows: Construction method of pavement manhole by sequential installation,Construction method of pavement manhole by cast-in-situ,Construction method of pavement manhole by integral installation.This paper gives the rapid repair engineering case of Shenyang manholes.
