The role of building energy efficiency in sustainable development has become increasingly prominent,Domestic and foreign architects are increasingly seeking lowenergy residential building form.Natural ventilation can create a better indoor environment and low energy consumption,which provides new concept for improvement of building energy efficiency.Atrium buildings can take advantage of their own benefits to guide the thermal ventilation in indoor zone,it is interesting and useful for the guiding deign of current building.In this paper,a typical atrium building as the research object to CFD software as a technical means,different building structures generated by the hot natural convection simulation study.First of all,this paper summarizes the history of domestic and foreign in-house residential building research and development,and made a brief analysis of it,and pointed out the form and characteristics of the atrium building,and summed up the numerical calculation theory of the atrium building and the simulation software used in the study,the experimental results of the predecessors’ experiments and the simulation results show that the atrium residential buildings in the energy saving and heat Comfort has a good advantage.On the basis of literature research and familiarity software,CFD software is used to simulate the thermal convection in the closed modeling model of simple modeling to understand the influence of the overall shape of the building on the indoor heat flow.Then,the representative multi-layer open atrium building is selected,and the hot air pressure generated by the internal heat load is simulated and analyzed in detail.The influence of the important parameters such as the inclination of the atrium wall and the height of the atrium is mainly studied.And the relationship between natural ventilation and hot ventilation;Finally,based on the two-dimensional simulation study,the characteristics of the atrium thermal convection under the model of coupled radiation are simulated,and the results are extended to the three-dimensional space structure,in order to accurately predict the indoor thermal environment.Research indicates:1.In the simulation study of a closed chamber with an inclined wall,it was found that the chamber with the sloping wall was at an indoor gas flow rate when the chamber wall was inclined at an angle of 45 ° and 135 ° compared to the closed chamber of the vertical wall Up to 60% larger than the vertical wall chamber,and in the convective strength and temperature stability,etc.,the inclined wall has a certain advantage.2.In the analysis of the characteristics of the heat flow in the atrium,it is found that the inclined walls play a convergence effect on the heat flow and have the most obvious influence in the middle and high floors,leading to greater ventilation rate and thermal comfort.3.It is found that the combined model can obtain the advantages of vertical wall and inclined wall,that is,the lower layer users have higher thermal stability,the highlevel users have higher ventilation rate and the inclined wall The angle of inclination is 87 ° ~ 90 °.4.In the hot pressing effect,with the floor heat flux increases,atrium hot and cold ventilation effect is getting better and better.With the increase of the floor heat flux,the in-house hot-pressing ventilation effect tends to be good,but the rate of change is reduced.5.In the low heat flux of the atrium building,the influence of the radiation model is negligible for the internal heat flow,and the main influencing factor is the thermal convection caused by hot pressing.
