In the past few centuries,people used natural ventilation to ensure the comfort level of indoor environment in buildings.Today,with the city development level and the higher requirements of the building product quality.Building energy consumption problem has received the social widespread attention and the green energy saving design in the field of architectural engineering attracts more and more attention.However,the atrium space as popular public building space widely used in all kinds of buildings,they are not only a wonderful interpretation of modern architectural space but also the important design strategy in green building.In many emerging design theory,building components and equipment has been proposed to improve their functions and service.In this paper,we take how to enhance the atrium ventilation effect as the breakthrough point to explore the the architecture design methods of the atrium space.With non-energy consumption or low-energy consumption ways to get the adjustment and improvement of the capacity of atrium space.At the same time,make a series summary about relatively complete strategies of ventilating atrium space.This paper consists of six chapters:The first chapter mainly introduces the research background clarifying the research purpose and significance.Proposed the content and innovation points of this paper and make a overview of contemporary green atrium section design status and the application of CFD dynamic simulation technology in architectural design field.And then introduce the analysis and research method based on numerical evidence CFD simulation.The second chapter through the interpretation of related concepts,puts forward relevant theoretical basis for the research.And introduces several CFD simulation software widely uesd in the current field of architecture.The third chapter describes the basic relationship between atrium design and natural ventilation.An overview of factors of atrium natural ventilation theory and basic characteristics of atrium ventilation and the possible influence had been made.And sums up the ventilation strategy of atrium space in different climate division.The fourth chapter will analyze the airflow environment under ideal condition with the aid of CFD simulation technique.Make a analysis and explore the influence of atrium space elements form and the condition on natural ventilation.The fifth chapter is based on the research results of chapter third and forth focus on the atrium layout,section,combination,environmental design and other aspects.Relatively completely atrium space design strategy were proposed according to the specific problems.To provide a reference and numerical basis for the future design of green building products,this part is the core of the research results of this paper.In the sixth chapter we take the design of "Shenyang Wanda Plaza" as example,with the atrium space as the research object.The theoretical research and design combined with the practice.To verify the design results by using numerical simulation to illustrate the practical value of research results.
