The technology of cutting-extruding compound trimming has the advantages of low cost,high forming quality and high material utilization ratio.However,at present,the research on the technology of cutting-extruding compound trimming is still not in depth,and there is no comprehensive and valuable reference for the selection of process parameters,especially the curve contour parts with relatively complicated contour.Therefore,in this paper,cutting-extruding compound trimming process was studied deeply,including forming mechanism,mechanical state,key technology,influence factors and rules of finishing quality,the process design method was analyzed and summarized,and the selection method of some parameters was obtained.This paper started with the nature and characteristics of the contour,cutting-extruding compound trimming was divided into three types: linear contour trimming?inner concave contour trimming and outer convex contour trimming.Firstly,numerical simulation and physical experiments were designed,the setting of the corresponding simulation parameters was analyzed,the numerical model was established by using DEFORM-3D software,the moulds,equipment and materials needed for physical experiments were determined,and the experiment scheme was explained in detail.Then,the mechanical state and forming mechanism of cutting-extruding compound trimming were studied,including the forming process and characteristics of the process;division of deformation zone and analysis of stress strain state in deformation zone;forming process and surface damage of three kinds of contour trimming;the law of material flow,shear slip and stress distribution in deformation zone during trimming process.After that,by summing up the data of finite element simulation and physical experiment,several parameters which have important influence on the process of cutting-extruding compound trimming were selected,the influence law of them on the forming quality was obtained respectively,Through the integration of data,their interaction was obtained by analysis.Finally,the process design and the selection of process parameters were analyzed.By means of forming theory,physical experiment and numerical simulation,the mechanical state,forming mechanism,influence factors and influence law of quality of the forming of local precision contour parts were studied.Finally,the method of process design and the selection of process parameters were obtained,which lays a foundation for the cutting-extruding compound trimming of parts,and provides a reference for actual production.
