The Study On Influence Of Lubricating Oil On The Life Of Gear Reducer

The Number 5 and Number 6 belt conveyer reducers of the first and second phase coal transferring in Inner Mongolia Datang International Tuoketuo Power Generation Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to Tuo Power Generation Company)are on long-term high temperature operation,as well as serious aging seal,oil leakage of high-speed shaft and low-speed shaft in varying degrees and gear worn phenomenon.This not only affects the life of gears,bearings and sealing eleme nt,but also cost a lot because of the maintenance with a mass of manpower,material and financial resources.The causes of the high temperature operation of the gear reducer are analyzed,and field experiment,record and comparison are made.The main reas ons for the high temperature gear reducer running and gear wear are selection and usage of the lubricating oils.Therefore,a deep research on the use of lubricating oil is carried out.First,choosing two-way sealing-tape machine with the same conditions single reducer driving,access the different viscosity levels of mineral lubricants into the gear reducer,compare and find out the temperature rules by regular on-line measurement of the side cover temperature of sealing-tape machine gear reducer.At the same time,with continuous testing and tracking the oil sample,the content of the metal particles in the gearbox is analyzed.Throughout the comparison and analysis,the influence of different viscosity lubricants on the life time of the gear is obtained.Second,choosing two-way sealing-tape machine with the same conditions single reducer driving,access the different viscosity levels of mineral lubricants and synthetic lubricating oil into the gear reducer.Through the installation of the electric energy meter,measured transporting power consumption of per ton of coal,continuous test and tracked Oil sample,temperature measurement,related infrared endoscopy checking and other means to determine the advantages of synthetic oil in equipment operation,which mainly are showed in energy saving,efficient operation of equipment,oil change cycle,reduction of equipment temperature and so on.Through research,finally select the appropriate lubricating oil,reduce the temperature of gearbox and energy consumption and improve lubrication as well as the reliability of the equipment.
