Following the rapid development of urbanization in our country,the economic level has been improving.The residents’ family life styles are becoming higher and higher quality.With the private cars irresistible to ordinary people,subsequently brings a lot of parking problem especially in the old town.The main performance is the problem of insufficient parking capacity and these problems will reduce the quality of life in the region and affect the sustainable development of public safety and the old urban areas.Through continuous exploration and research,scholars always use most mathematical methods to establish the index system for parking and estimate the buliding’s parking requirements.when they study the issue of parking capacity.However,this approach does not put the numbers into space,and is largely unable to specify the exact location and number of parking facilities.Aiming at these problems,this paper tries to establish a set of analysis method of parking space problems,to perfect the current of the old city residential parking specification index cannot meet the demand of the actual parking,parking,as a result of difficult problems.Paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter is introduction.Introduces the origin,background,purpose and significance of thesis and defines the research object and scope.And expounds the current research,the author puts forward the use of spatial analysis method to solve the problem of parking capacity.The second chapter for the domestic,the international relevant theoretical research and case introduction.Combed the abroad since the 20 th century the development of residential traffic organization process,including the concept of Shared parking Spaces,to share the concept of reference;And introduced the solution of parking problems in the downtown in Tokyo,New York and London from the early neglected parking capacity problem,to pay attention to the way of parking at the same time also pay attention to combining the surrounding environment,to encourage change last way to travel,to inspire also to the study of this article.The third chapter is theoretical construction parts.Through the analysis of the previous two chapters,influencing the settlement of(population,plot ratio,building area of parking capacity of related factors,)and build parking capacity analysis elements,and established the use of GIS software as analysis tool,adopting the method of Buffer.Buffer and Thiessen polygon to space analysis of parking facilities,and established the analysis framework and process.The fourth chapter for exhibition road,xicheng district area parking problem instances of the application part.Through the exhibition road area parking facilities shortage problem has carried on the quantitative analysis;According to analysis of parking facilities coverage analysis,parking convenience;According to the service population intensity,to determine the crowded parking facilities,and according to the service population intensity values determine relative shortage areas,parking facilities can guide the relevant departments of project construction;And the brief analysis of the causes of parking problems in old town,and gives some countermeasures and suggestions.In this paper,birst place in the very great degree to make up for past mathematical results cannot implement the blank to the layout,can be drawn through the crowded area to calculate the number of parking,convenient project establishment,to facilitate the future planning and construction management.Hope that through case and method introduced in this paper,also work for other relevant construction and management of urban studies and planning for reference.Use to the actual conditions of project planning in the future,as the reference for the design of urban planning design requirements.
