Study On The Design Of Household Bath Aid

The aggravating trend of aging population in China is causing more and more limb paralyses resulting from senile diseases.Due to the decline or even partial loss of self-care ability,patients usually find it difficult to have a bath or shower on their own,which is not a problem of a particular family,but a social issue that needs to be resolved soon.This paper mainly focuses on how the patients with limb paralysis can wash themselves effectively and efficiently using less energy with the help of paramedics and proposes the design of bath aid.Firstly,this paper compares and analyzes various ways of bathing,and clarifies the research object--the bath aid product that designed for the patients with limb paralysis.In the aspect of research on the status quo of bath aid products,research and comparison are conducted in product status quo,theoretical research status and patent application status,and then the innovation direction and research value of this paper are proposed.Then,under the background of scientific nursing knowledge,based on the physical characteristics and psychological characteristics of the patients with limb paralysis while bathing,and field survey and questionnaires on two kinds of application environment(community and hospital)and their corresponding use requirements respectively,through first-hand information gathered,and deep analysis of bath characteristics,man-machine relationship and existing problems,restrictive factors and key factors of bath aid design are figured out.Based on these factors,this paper proposes a ZZHX system(represents for bath aid product,patients with limb paralysis,paramedics and bathroom),and analyzes characteristics of different components,as well as the interrelationship between patients with limb paralysis and paramedics,bath aid product and paramedics,bath aid product and patients with limb paralysis,and interrelationship of bath aid product,patients with limb paralysis,paramedics and bathroom,according to the interrelationship above,forms the behavior model,and comes up with functions and requirements of sitting platforms,backrests,handrails,pedals,and ways to contact ground.Finally,according to research conclusion,design is proposed and then assessed and improved,until it meets the use requirements,providing a reference for the study of bath aid products for the patients with limb paralysis.
