| China has been entering a peak of population aging since new century. The population of senior citizens and whom disability in activities of daily living has a very significant increase. The issue of empty nest has become more prominent. In the meantime, based on the problem, its so attached that how to take care of senior citizens in the daily life. Taking a bath not only makes the aged hygienic and comfortable, but more also provides psychological well-being by promoting metabolism, improving blood circulation and relaxing mood. A further complication would be added to those over-aged and disabled, meanwhile it’s a heavy workload to the nursing staff. Injury and drowning may occur caused by a mismatch between the nurse and the old.The research which allows user to lie down on a platform designed for bath throughout the whole process could fully relax the user. Instead of transferring the old people by manpower, a guide rail is designed to lighten the burden of nursing care and prevent the possible danger.In this paper, based on the theory of anthropometry, we finish the device in consideration of specific human body size and the rational working space. Firstly, a pattern of human body has established using human engineering size to design the structure of the device; solid modeling has been done in PRO/E environment; then kinematics simulation and static strength analysis respectively based on ADAMS and ANSYS to the scissors elevating structure of bath tub ensured the reliability; finally the control system of the device has been analysed in detail, and reasonable circuit element has been selected to design the program flow diagram of system using the electrical schematic diagram. |
