| Currently,the promotion of “Block System” is an important issue put forward in our country to alleviate the problems happening in our cities.At present,there are some problems in the residential space,which is an important component of the urban function.On the one hand,since the size of residential areas is too large and closed,it hinders the smooth urban traffic.On the other hand,because the current mainstream residential form tends to be closed,it strictly defines the inside and outside space and leads to the separation of residential space.In the context of the block system,studying how to promote the opening of residential space is a significant way to alleviate urban problems.The opening of residential space can not only increase the density of urban road network and alleviate the traffic congestion problem,but also facilitate the integration of main roads within the residential area into the urban road network system and promote the organic integration of residential function and urban street life.Therefore,under the background of the block system,this paper studies about the openness and development strategy of urban residential space,hoping to form a good support for the smooth promotion of the block system.First of all,based on the study of related theories in the early stage,this paper clarifies the reasons for the lack of openness in the residential space.Through the site survey and other ways,this paper finds out the contradiction between the closure and opening of residential areas,and conducts the preliminary analysis about the challenges and chances existing in the opening of residential space.Secondly,this paper reviews the evolution process of the urban pattern and residential space in Suzhou,and analyzes the interaction between the two in the process of development and evolution.This paper summarizes and classifies the forms of the residential space in Suzhou,including the open,semi-open and close type.It further analyzes the characteristics of residential space with differential forms,determines its degree of openness,extracts the open elements,selects the open conditions,and identifies the residential areas suitable for being opened.This paper also analyzes the existing districts and the new districts.On the one hand,the opening of existing residential space focuses on two open concepts,including the open concept of “Retaining the Texture and Optimizing the improvement” in the traditional neighborhood residential space and the open concept of “Adding,Optimizing and Creating the Branch Way for Life” in the new village residential space.According to the corresponding principles,we put forward the targeted,enforceable open strategies.On the other hand,for the development of new residential space,this paper puts forward prospective ideas,principles,the control of planning and provisions,traffic organization,public service facilities,the implementation of open green space and the construction of the unit model in residential space,which can guide the development and opening of planned new residential areas from the multi-level and all-round effect. |
