Higher education is popularized in China,many colleges and universities expending on original site,led to huge changes in the exterior space environment and impact outdoor comfort.In this study,applying parametric design idea,using the PHOENICS software to simulate the school environment which is before campus extension and after campus extension,and find out the reason which result in huge change of wind environment.In conclusion:(1)The changing of landscape elements have an effect on wind environment,the region changing from farmland into buildings will decrease the wind speed;changing from buildings into an open space will increase the wind speed.(2)The changing of landscape elements in other regions will effect wind environment in around area.(3)The pattern of building will influence wind environment around,"enclosure" pattern will create a more comfortable wind environment than "determinant" pattern.(4)The high building density of the region will result in low wind speed,while low building density areas,will result in high wind speed.(5)The height and shape will have effect on wind environment.(6)Vegetation will decrease wind speed.Thus,the study use several Comparative Experiments,to discuss how air flow angle and vegetation height impact on wind environment at pedestrian height(1.5m).come to the conclusion:(1)From 0 to 90 degrees,when the angle of air flow with vegetation increase,the wind speed will decrease.(2)When the height of vegetation is less than 5m,the wind speed will increase with increasing height of vegetation.when the height of vegetation is over than 5m,the wind speed will decrease with increasing height of vegetation.In the range of 5m height,the distance of the most obvious effect area is increasing with increasing vegetation height.When the vegetation height is above 10m,the vegetation with the most obvious effect on the wind deceleration is not increasing with the height increase.In optimization,we make some conclusion as follow:(1)The application of vegetation to the larger wind speed region to optimize,should try to make the flow direction and vegetation vertical,in order to achieve the best deceleration effect.(2)We should choose the moderate amount of trees to decrease wind speed,so not only to achieve the best optimization effect,but also to avoid the increase in seedling procurement costs.
