With the development of air cooling technology and the present situation of water resources shortage in our country,the air cooling system has been applied in a lot of domestic thermal power plants.Air cooling technology is one of the best water saving methods in thermal power plant,especially in the rich coal poor water area.In recent years,China has been building a large number of air cooling units in the north.However,there are many problems in the operation of air cooling units,including the high operating pressure,and the influence of the environment temperature.Especially in the hot summer time,pressure of air cooling units increased significantly,resulting in air cooling unit coal consumption is generally high,and prone to high back pressure steam turbine with load load conditions was forced to dissatisfaction.Based on the existing air cooling unit to investigate these problems,retrofit scheme for peak cooler air cooling unit,gives the recommended scheme can effectively reduce the coal consumption rate of power supply and the economic analysis has important theoretical and practical significance for China's power enterprises.In order to better analyze the operation performance and economy of air cooling unit,the calculation model of peak cooling system of air cooling unit was established.Through the analysis of the actual situation of Baotou two power plant,four kinds of transformation schemes are put forward,that is,three machines and four towers,two machines and one tower,one machine and one tower and one tower of two machines.The peak cooling system,the reform of the cooling tower,the arrangement of the circulating water and the distribution of the water system and the system of the distribution of the water system were studied.Based on the calculation model of peak cooling system of air cooling unit in this paper,the thermal and economic,environmental benefits,economic and technical and economic characteristics of the four schemes are compared with the investment and income analysis.The four reconstruction schemes of static investment,total revenue,static investment payback period and other indicators were compared,the results showed that: in the four schemes,the first scheme of the annual income is the biggest;second and third for the same investment cost,fourth schemes of the minimum cost;third year plan minimum income;investment recovery period of third schemes is the longest,the payback period is fourth for the shortest;the overall comparison,fourth schemes have certain advantages.
