Reflection Of The Population Analysis And The Regional Culture In The Public Environment Design Of The Old Community

With the advent of the market economy in the 1990 s,the advancement of the urbanization brought about the rise of the real estate market and drove a large-scale urban renewal.A large number of old houses,and the whole blocks as well as the community which were built years ago were replaced by the strange and new residential buildings and blocks.The spatial structure and geographical features that formed for long time in the city was destroyed.The previous transformation mainly focused on the material level,which didn't research the public space requirements and ignored the continuation of the regional culture.This dissertation collected the relevant theories and practical experiences of community transformation at home and abroad,and tried to discuss the effect and guiding significance that the community population Analysis and regional culture can make to the transformation of public environment in old communities based on the specific design cases.This dissertation was divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction,including the background,significance of this paper,and the characteristics of the study as well as the contents and methods of the study.Besides,the author also made analysis of the development process and theories of the transformation of the old community at home and abroad.The second part introduced the related concepts and theories.The third part analyzed the behavior characteristics and activity requirements in public space of people in all ages.The fourth part discussed the design principle and the design methods of regional culture.The fifth part discussed the application that crowd analysis and the regional culture which used in the old community transformation combined with the design cases.Based on the pertinence of population analysis and the universality of Regional Cultural Studies,this dissertation aimed to explore the new ideas and new inspiration to improve the public environment of community,and promote the organic renewal of the old community.Considering people's psychological feelings and practical needs,this paper intended to improve the health and vitality of community,while respect the histories and memories of the community,and promote the harmony of community.
