In the vehicle development process,the prototype is one of the very important parts.It is a bond between product design and massproduction,it will providetest vehicles for the vehicle preliminary design and test.At the same time,to determine whether the pre design of each component,process state and size matching is reasonable.In order to find out the problems in the pre design,and put forward a reasonable solution.This paper analyzes the influences of the quality of the body about the product design,size engineering,the quality of stamping parts,weldingfixture and welding process.Developing prototype trial processes with the process of testing the car.It takes a series of quality control methods to reduce the influences of various factors on the quality of the body.Firstly,at the beginning of the prototype,data checking is carried out to discover and solve the problems that will affect production in the design process intime,data checking will improve the feasibility of design data and improve the quality of the body.Secondly,it formulates development processes and standards of measurement points and RPS points to make the design more standardized and reasonable.Thirdly,it strictly controls the quality of stamping parts to makethat they are all up to the standards.Fourthly,it formulates standards and development process of welding fixture design,make the welding fixture up to the requiredafter the design,review,modify repeatedly.At the same time,because it is the prototype stage,it needs to improve the welding fixture,added detection block,it can discover and solve the problems about welding deformation.Fifthly,controlthe welding process,study the body data conscientiously,plan welding sequence.Design and use auxiliary tools to avoid the deformation of mobile and stored process which is except welding process.Lastly,do a good job in the quality inspection.As the number of prototype is not too much,checkthe every assembly in accordance with the formulation inspection standards,solve and record the discovered problems,record into the file with the car for query.These control methods have been used in the H3 project,so that the qualified rate of the H3 project has been greatly improved,and achieved the desired results.
