Study On Structure Design And Manufacturing Technology Of Stamping Centrifugal Pump

Centrifugal pump can convert mechanical energy into fluid movement. But the impeller and pump shell are produced by casting technology. So the structure size precision is lower. And surface roughness is bigger, which is not conducive to hydraulic performance of the fluid. Developed in the1970s a stamping welding centrifugal pump can effectively solve the above problem. This paper is studying on the structure design and manufacturing technology of the stamping centrifugal pump.At the first part of this paper, it gives a brief summary of the domestic and foreign relevant stamping welding centrifugal pump design and manufacturing process research had been carried. Based on summarizing predecessors’ achievements and combined with traditional multistage centrifugal pump structure characteristics, it designs a new structure of impeller and pump casing which based on stamping process. According to the necessary centrifugal pump hydraulic design, it gives three-dimensional entity model of stamping welding centrifugal pump though Pro/E software. To confirm the correctness of the model, it studies in CFD software for the static pressure of the impeller.The stamping processes of the impeller and pump casing are complied. This paper chooses the lower cover, guide vane inner shell as an example to do research in technological process, combined with the simulation software Dynaform professional sheet metal stamping process, the simulation of stamping forming process, to find problems in a timely manner. On the part design, adopted by the fixed device. Finally, the stamping parts required to produce the stamping mould design research were briefly reviewed. Welding technology, analyzes the advantages of using laser welding, choice of laser welding for stamping welding centrifugal pump impeller, pump shell of the main welding method.
