The Conservation And Rehabilitation Planning And Design Of Xiaoxihu Area In Nanjing Based On Historical Texture Recovery

Nanjing Xiaoxihu Area is located in the south gate of Nanjing Old Town,which is a typical representative area of traditional houses and streets and alleys in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.However,the current situation of the patch area is poor,people's livelihood conditions are low,the transformation is imminent.Therefore,to improve the quality of life of indigenous people,while focusing on historical protection,to explore the restoration of historical texture based on the protection and renewal of the planning strategy.This paper first carries on the historical research and the present situation research to the area.And then on the basis of the comprehensive evaluation of the current situation,based on the historical study of homestead boundaries as the basis for the restoration of the Ming and Qing dynasties historical texture.Proposed "to restore the two gardens,the protection of four key areas,the protection of historical streets,the development of two groups," the planning concept.Finally,the integration of historical resources,implantation of characteristics of business,commercial function planning,and launched key areas and groups in-depth design,in order to achieve "historical texture protection,improvement of people's livelihood conditions,business functions to enhance the" planning objectives.
