The icing phenomenon usually happens in Pantograph-overhead contact line system in winter,which is a great threat to the security and reliable operation of the high-speed electric railway,leading to serious accidents and heavy losses.The icing can affect the quality of pantograph-catenary current collection and lead to the increase of pantograph-catenary vibration.The catenary and pantograph are more likely to be separated and the arc is consequently caused.The energy of the pantograph-catenary arc is concentrated and the temperature is extremely high,which has a strong thermal erosion effect on the pantograph slide and contact wire.At the same time,pantograph arc causes asymmetries and distortion in supply voltage and current waveforms.These asymmetric voltage and current led to a net dc component,which has certain influence on the transformer and the signal system along the catenary.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the interaction between pantograph-catenary arc and icing catenary,which can provide reliable data for the further study on the model of catenary and the anti-icing techniques.First of all,based on the mechanism of pantograph arc,the generation of pantograph arc and the influence of ice coating on the catenary are analyzed in this paper.Secondly,based on the heat conduction theory,the finite element model of arc-melt of contact line is developed by ANSYS software.The temperature distribution of contact wire is calculated.The correctness of the model is verified by comparing the simulation results with the results based on the mathematical model,which can provide theoretical basis for the research of the influence of accreted icing on catenary.Thirdly,the heat conduction model of arc-melt of contact line and pantograph under the condition of ice coating on the catenary is established.The temperature distribution of contact wire and pantograph slide are simulated.The influence of icing on the arc erodes contact line and pantograph slide are analyzed,and the heat effect of arc heat on the ice layer is analyzed.Furthermore,the impacts of different arc heat flux,thickness of ice and the material of slide on the temperature distribution of the contact wire and the slide plate are studied.Finally,the generation mechanism of the DC component and the source of DC source in the traction power supply system are discussed.The generation of DC component of arc under icing condition is analyzed.The influence of the DC component of the arc on the transformer under the single and double bow traction is studied.
