With the development of society and the continuous improvement of people's ideology,ancient Chinese architecture has been regarded as a treasure of Chinese culture and art.In today's digital and information-based society in various fields of the whole era of rapid development,digital protection has gradually into the public view,ancient buildings protection was used by the technology is also constantly updated accordingly.Ancient architecture protection is toward represented by digital security monitoring research,preventive protection direction development,surveying and mapping as a basic work in ancient architecture heritage protection is also more important meaning.1 Compared with the traditional technique of 3 D information acquisition,3 D laser scanning technology is non-contact,fast speed,high precision,complete all sorts of advantages,such as gathering information meets the requirements of digital protection of ancient buildings.But in ancient architecture protection project,currently available for 3 D laser scanning point cloud data,mostly used for modeling 3 D or 2 D drawings,the output,a large number of resources did not give full play to the role of data.Therefore,this paper will study the application of 3D laser scanning point cloud data from the requirements of preservation and restoration of ancient buildings.First of all,this study of ancient buildings at home and abroad in the field of research and application of 3 D laser scanning technology is analyzed,combing ancient buildings at present stage 3 D laser scanning technology application in the field of research,the research trend,the point cloud data of 3D scanning application is still in the continuous exploration.Combining with practical engineering experience,this paper discusses the technical points of 3D laser scanning technology,and provides theoretical support for this research.Finally,the current 3 D scanning point cloud data summary analyzes common applications in the field of ancient buildings,extracting repair demand for ancient architecture protection,the present problems existing in the common application and the research deficiency,do practice basis for the further research of the next.The article mainly carries on the design research from the following aspects:1.Aiming at the shortcomings of the drawing expression aspect,this study makes full use of the characteristics of point cloud data precision,details are rich,the design will be point cloud is combined with the traditional chart taken drawing expression,as well as in the point cloud is taken directly tagging diseases on drawing the damage information.2.Aiming at the shortcomings of the ancient building safety,this study design using 3 D scanning point cloud data for building the overall structural deformation analysis,the construction of the plane,the structure of the columns and beams are analyzed.3.Aiming at the shortcomings of the ancient diseases damage detection monitoring,this study design using 3D scanning technology of group content monitoring,thus using the point cloud data for quantitative analysis to determine disease damaged information.4.Aiming at the shortcomings of the auxiliary building reconstruction design aspect,this study design using three-dimensional point cloud data dimension reconstruction design,and the quantities of computer auxiliary actual restoration project record,finally in this research,on the basis of the ancient buildings of BIM parameterization for virtual assembling a large number of construction.
