| The convention centers are ushering in an upsurge of construction in the last decade.However,they have high energy consumption because of the large volume,which is seldom taken into consideration by people.Based on the classification of the design of exhibition space,investigation and questionnaire survey on comfort conditions are carried out in 8 typical cases.After finding the element that influence the comfort most,simulation of energy consumption and physical environment is carried out,which provides basis for the energy saving design of convention centers.What’s more,the frequency of utilization of convention centers in different seasons is considered in the energy simulation to get the more believable conclusion.Firstly,the database of the design of convention centers in cold climate region is set up by means of data sorting and investigation of 28 convention centers,analyzing the layout、the organization of the space、the form of the exhibition space and so on,to provide basis for the design of convention centers.Secondly,based on the data arrangement,investigation and questionnaire survey are carried out in 8 typical cases in 3 different seasons in 2014 and 2015 to evaluate the comfort conditions and find the use conditions in exhibition space,which proves that envelope design is important for the comfort.Finally,based on the classification of envelope forms and the data arrangement,energy and lighting simulations are carried out to explore the relationship between envelope forms and energy consumption or the relationship between envelope forms and lighting,which provides basis for the design of convention centers.from the simulation we can get the conclusion that the glass curtain wall towards south+10% bar type skylight are the most comfortable envelope design with low energy consumption and 10% bar type skylight has the lowest energy consumption with good comfort. |
