Study On The Planning And Design Of Mountain Convention And Exhibition Center

With the enhancement of domestic economic strength,the world exhibition economy began to transfer to China.Since 2018,China has begun to build a large number of large-scale exhibition halls.As a large-scale public building,the Convention and Exhibition Center has the commonness of large-scale public buildings and the characteristics of convention and exhibition buildings.It plays an important role in urban life and is also a symbol and important place of a city.The content composition of the Convention and Exhibition Center also tends to be compound and multi-functional,presenting in the form of architectural complexes.It is a great challenge for planners and architects to build large-scale exhibition center buildings in mountainous areas,solve the contradiction between complex terrain and the requirements of large exhibition space,and how to organize various internal streamlines and connect urban traffic.At present,the domestic research on the Convention and Exhibition Center mainly focuses on the spatial compounding of individual buildings and the functional transformation of the future development space,or the functional research on the single space in the Convention and Exhibition Center,such as the combination relationship and spatial scale of exhibition space,conference space and traffic space.Foreign research on the Convention and Exhibition Center mainly introduces the specific scheme ideas,solves those design problems,and introduces the specific design methods.However,the research on how to solve the vertical design and streamline problems in the overall planning of the Convention and Exhibition Center complex in combination with the mountain landform is rare.Based on the perspective of urban design,based on the place theory and relevant national specifications,and taking the actual project of Chongqing high tech Zone Convention and Exhibition Center as a research case,this paper explores the feasibility of combining large-scale convention and Exhibition Center buildings with the mountain environment.On the basis of exploring the technical scheme of adjusting measures to local conditions,this paper summarizes and draws lessons from the existing case experience,and tries to reflect the regional cultural characteristics through research,so as to build the Convention and Exhibition Center into a new landmark of the city,Create a space with vitality and sense of belonging,provide reference for the design ideas and methods for the construction of large-scale exhibition public buildings in mountainous areas,and seek the balance and coordination among people,buildings and natural environment.Combined with the practical verification of the actual project,this paper puts forward the planning and design strategy of the mountain Convention and Exhibition Center,which provides a reference for the relevant planning and design practice.
