Wind energy is one of popular renewable energy.More and more countries and regions pay great attention to it as it has clean and environmental-protected characteristics.In the recent years,wind energy has been promoted greatly in our country.However,the maintenance of wind turbines is costly in a long time,and the wind farms in the forest areas are located in the outskirts of the rare inhabitants,which poses great challenges to the maintenance work and the popularization and application of wind power.In general,wind turbine have a designed service life of 20 years.While in the real operation,the life spans of wind turbine are much lower than the designed time because of environmental uncertainties such as long-time temperatures relative humidity changes.As a result,these challenges limit the economic benefits and application of wind energy.The cost of running wind turbine sin forest farms is influenced by maintenance strategies which is planned by the owner.In this study,the author proposes a multi-level preventive maintenance strategy to help owners to develop maintenance strategies.Specifically,(1)construct the target management set of the key components of the wind turbine,and evaluate the running status of each component to get the replacement probability index.(2)Propose two preventive solutions,namely,preventive maintenance and preventative replacements.In preventive maintenance,all key components are assumed to be new and in good operational condition.In preventive replacement,setup components are employed for a period of time and are aged.Therefore,the cost of maintaining the wind turbine depends on how the range of components and the operating state is set.Based on this idea,a function based on maintenance cost is set up and the components of the function are modeled.Finally,the effectiveness analysis and sensitivity analysis of the actual wind farm data were carried out.The results show that the maintenance strategy based on the working state of key components can take into account the actual situation in the maintenance strategy.The updated strategies gives the sensitivity to the factors that affect the total maintenance cost.Thus this model can provide better decision supporting for the maintenance and replacement of the key components of the wind turbine at forest areas.
