With the rapid economic and social development,China's power development runsinto the era of large power grid,and the UHV strategic make the high-voltage,long-distance power transmission be the key to the transformation of energy development.Inner Mongolia Power Grid is an important part of the North China Power Grid and the main power transmission side,Alashan Power Grid is located in the western Inner Mongolia Power whose power supply area is large,and it shoulders the task of sending new energy projects.The construction of Dingyuanying 500 kV substation is of great significance to improve the substation capacity of Alashan area,enhance the grid structure of Alashan Power Grid and promote the new energy consumption in a wider range.In this paper,the design and implementation of Dingyuanying 500 kV substation was taken as the object of study,considering the project is a 220 kV switching station expansion and long term planning,based on the preliminary feasibility study and preliminary design,a large amount of research and data sort out.Firstly,this paper introduced the design basis,construction scale and project site,and then analyzed the development status and power plan of Inner Mongolia Power Grid and Alashan Power Grid,and analyzed the power market demands of Inner Mongolia Power Grid and Alashan Power Grid.The power balance analysis was carried out to demonstratethe necessity and significance of the project.At the same time,this paper studied the access system solution according to the present situation of Alashan Power Network and the site of the substation.Considering the project overview and the possible system access point,two different substation access system solutions were presented,the solutions were analyzed and compared from the aspects of system,substation,line,communication and economicto determine the substation and power system connection.Finally,the design of the electrical primary and secondary system of the substation was made,including the main electrical wiring,main electrical equipment selection,relay protection configuration,control mode,communication and dispatch.
