ABSTRACT:At present,China's urban rail transit is in rapid expansion and development.As one of the key schemas in the operation and management of urban railway,train service plan preparation and optimization should be changed from a single line or local network to the entire railway network.The transfer coordination in the hub stations is an indispensable part in the process of optimizing the operation plan under the condition of network operation.With the development of urban railway network operation,the existing train service plan of urban railway optimization model should be improved in view of the network transfer coordination.Therefore,a new train service plan optimization model is proposed based on the network transfer coordination,which provides a theoretical basis and decision support for urban railway network operation and has a strong guiding significance in the actual process of the train service planning in the network operation conditions.The main research achievements are summarized as follows:(1)The characteristics of railway network structure and the distribution of passenger flow are studied under the condition of network operation of the the urban railway.The network model is present based on the Beijing urban railway,and the physical network topology structure and data storage structure are designed.Also,the distribution characteristics of passenger flow are analyzed.In addition,an importance evaluation method of the transfer nodes is proposed based on the structure characteristics of the physical network and the characteristics of the transfer passenger flow,which provides the weight parameter of the network transfer coordination model.(2)A transfer waiting time calculation method is present and verified based on the analysis of the passenger transfer process.The process of passenger transfer coordination is described in detail and the key elements are defined.The Webber distribution method with three parameters is used to calculate the walking time of passenger transfer.Furthermore,the transfer waiting time calculation method is present based on the arrival and departure time collection,and it is improved based on the harmonic principle to deal with the uncertain train arrival time.(3)The generation principles and methods of the train routing scheme and the start interval selection are presented based on the analysis of various train routing modes and depart interval constraint.Then,a bi-level train service plan optimization model based on the network transfer coordination is proposed,which takes the objectives of minimum operation cost and average transfer waiting time of the entire network.(4)An improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed based on the characteristics of the variables of the train service planning model,which divides the components of the particles in space into integers,non-integers.This method can effectively reduce the number of infeasible solutions.In the end,a real-world case study about Beijing urban railway network consisting of 9 lines is present and the train service plans in the morning and evening peak and normal time are generated based the above model and algorithm,which verifies the feasibility and applicability.
