Climate Conference in Copenhagen in 2009 focus people's attention to energy conservation again. In this context, urban transport development is not only to meet the needs of urban expansion, but also satisfy the rational use of urban land, energy saving, environmental protection requirements. Rail Transit and bicycle traffic as two low-power, high environmentally friendly mode of transport become more and more attention in many countries. This thesis researches bicycle and railway traffic (B& R) joint transfer.First this thesis analyzes the traffic situation of urban bike at home and abroad, fully understand the characteristics of urban bike traffic flow, and have a clear understanding of bicycle traffic in the city's future development trends. By the traffic structure survey in Xi'an, combination of the characteristics of its own railway transit and around the rail lines'land using situation, pointed out that the inevitability of the establishment of bicycle and railway traffic joint transfer in Xi'an. Based on this analysis, the contents of this paper have the following four points:1. Bicycle Ride facility layout mode. The first, the paper described the main factors that affect the B& R Transfer Station Layout. Then according the factors summarized layout principles, and established a transfer station for the layout model in Xi'an.2. Research on the demand of the amount of bicycle transfer. Based on current research about transfer demand in China, analysis of current bike traffic transfer demand models' advantages and disadvantages, the amount of the bike transfer's demand model is improved, by the method of intention investigation the cyclists were surveyed, the parameters were determine. Make the formula more suitable for calculating the amount of Xi'an bike transfer needs.3. Studied about transfer station facilities service levels. First, the paper described the types of transfer station facilities, and facilities service's principle. By the analysis of the factors about facilities service level, based on fuzzy evaluation model of transfer station facilities service level, it established evaluation system. This evaluation system is practical for the transfer station's project choice.4. The establishment of a bicycle road network attached to railway. This part mainly studies the bicycle road network. Analysis of the bike functional problems and the unblocked principles of the bicycle road network. Studied the Xi'an road network structure and present situation. Take the Xi'an for example, it established Xi'an bicycle road network system attached to railway transit.
