At present,the rapid development of various cities has brought about a lot of people's livelihood and life issues.More and more family ancestral halls are idle or commercialized,and the ancestral halls are abandoned or destroyed.The fourth comprehensive,accurate and scientific survey of the cultural relics of various districts and county-level cities has been completed in Guangzhou and the list of immovable cultural relics has been recorded in reference books,information books and reference books.More and more experts and scholars pay attention to this,However,The reasonable use of ancestral hall space is still rarely concerned.To Chen ancestral hall of the North Village Pavilion of Panyu District of Guangzhou City as an example,we focus on the original function by investigating the present situation of Guangzhou ancestral hall indoor space and putting forward the programs of revitalization in order to make rational use of ancestral hall space and explore the new way of existence.This paper includes four chapters,Chapter1 describes the research background and problems,research purpose and significance,and the domestic and foreign research situation.The reasons for irrational use of ancestral hall space are analyzed in Chapter 2 by investigating and comparing the original function of indoor space of the ancestral hall in Guangzhou.In Chapter3,based on the the practical investigation,the revitalization principle,process,emphasis and so on are discussed.To Chen ancestral hall of the North Pavilion Village as an example,the design schemes are proposed in the last Chapter,in order to solve the difficulties in the process of the revitalization of the interior space of ancestral halls and provide feasible schemes for the future research and practice.
