The planetary gear reducer has advantages of smaller volume,bigger transmission ratio,higher transmission efficiency and bigger carrying capacity than ordinary gear reducer.It is widely used in many engineering fields such as engineering machinery,light and textile industrial and aerospace fields.At present,there are some problems of the researches of the planetary gear reducer in China.There is still big gap in terms of the performance and product quality between China and the foreign countries.Because many modern techniques,such as three-dimensional parametric design,finite element analysis and optimal design have been used in many developed countries,resulting in high design quality.However,conventional methods are still adopted in our country,which leading to longer design circle,lower design efficiency and non-recyclable integrated data.As a result,it is important to speed up the design process,reduce material consumption and manufacturing costs and improve the quality and performance of product,through improving the functions of planetary gear reducer using modern methods.PM425-3 planetary gear reducer is selected as the example in the paper.Through the second-development of SolidWorks based on VB,an integrated system is developed which include the functions of basic parameters input,design calculations,strength checking,coincidence degree checking and parametric automatic modeling.The gear components and reducer box are analysed by the finite element analysis software.Static mechanical properties of the resulting parts and their natural frequencies can be calculated,optimal design of reducer box is achieved based on finite element analysis.Firstly,based on the NGW planetary gear reducer design theory,gear theory,engineering mechanics and strength check theoretical research,the system structure,processing method and the software diagrams are presented.Secondly,some researchers are finished which related to second-development of SolidWorks.Based on SolidWorks API a seamless connection between VB and SolidWorks is established through the combination of program driven method and dimension driven method.The parametric,automatic model and assembling model of NGW planetary gear reducer are made.The program is applied to UI guide users to input and determine the design parameters.The program can be drived automatically in SolidWorks.In the end,it is also useful to perform finite element analysis in the study.Static analysis about NGW planetary ring gear reducer,is to find out the maximum displacement and stress in the critical condition.By performing mode analysis about NGW planetary gear box,the reducer box is not resonance with internal excitation.By static analysis,dimensional optimization of reducer box are finished based on ANSYS Workbench.Under the requirement of engineering,lightweight design is achieved. |
