UAV load system is the integrated information processing platform for UAV to complete functions such as communication, navigation, radar, detection and identification. Among these functions, communication is the most important one.OFDM modulation technology is widely used in UAV communication system because of its strong anti-multipath capability, high spectrum utilization and adaptability for high-speed transmission. But because of its subcarrier quadrature modulation, the synchronization module for OFDM system is essential.This paper studies the OFDM communication synchronization module in UAV load system in two aspects. ? According to the channel model of the UAV communication system and the performance index of the OFDM synchronization module in this background, a UAV OFDM communication synchronization scheme is proposed. The scheme includes timing synchronization and carrier synchronization. In the timing synchronization, it is proposed to realize the coarse synchronization through the traditional Schmidl algorithm, and realize the fine synchronization through the algorithm of cross correlation with the local sequence to improve the timing accuracy.? Implementes the OFDM synchronization on FPGA in the UAV load system's signal processing hardware platform. During the implementation, based on the hardware resources reuse design for UAV load system, the structure and method of hardware implementation are optimized. The FPGA resource occupancy rate is limited to 3%,which saves hardware resources for other signal processing functions.Finally, the performance of the OFDM synchronization module is tested on the signal processing hardware platform of the UAV system.The test results show that the synchronization module designed in this paper has good performance and meets the requirements of system index fine.
