Development Of Village Residentials In The Northern Area Of Fujian Province Based On Low-carbon Conception

China is a country with extensive land area and a great variety of ecological environment.There are great differences in cultural characteristics,local customs and aesthetic ideas between the north and the south.In the sediment of history,residential buildings are gradually featured by different regional styles.They not only have a profound cultural connotation,stylistic features,but also fully reflect the concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.Compared with the coastal areas,the economy in northern mountainous area is relatively backward because of the unique characteristics of the land.Therefore,to develop the third industry,make full use of the mountain forest resources,promote the development of forest ecological-tourism,deepen the economic cooperation between them is a wise strategy to make the economy stronger in the northern mountainous areas.In order to fulfill the national policy,the embodiment of the northern residential characteristics should be displayed more and in higher level.When we focus on the aesthetic value of traditional dwellings,more attention should be paid to its local style to excavate those characteristic elements as well as the traditional ecological thoughts.On the premise of fully considering the low-carbon environmental protection,new local-style buildings should be created with traditional characteristics and local cultural characteristics as well as the characteristics of the new era.This thesis aims at the architectural characteristics of village residential buildings in northern area of Fujian province,and based on the low-carbon concept,it studies the architectural characteristics by fully investigating the four local famous ancient towns-Heping town in Shaowu,Xiamei village in Wuyi Mountain,Xiayang town in Yanping district and Yuankeng town in Shunchang county;the research work for the thesis are as follows:1.Elaborate low-carbon concept and the characteristics of low-carbon buildings,clarify the matters needing attention for the locals in North Fujian Province.2.Analyze the shape and structure of the buildings from the natural geographical environment,ideology,culture and economic life.3.Investigate and analyze the architectural styles and features of the four famous ancient towns by surveying and mapping on the spot,bibliographic retrieval and case study,lucubrate the architectural complex,the design of the inside and outside of the buildings through the overall arrangement,the function of each building,architectural structure,architectural aesthetics and interior decoration,summarize the problems on the present residential buildings,make scientific comparison and propose the significance of protecting the traditional features in local buildings.4.Summarize the low-carbon features of the four famous ancient towns by comparative study,analytical investigation,discussion and observational method.Supply suitable low-carbon measures for the buildings in north Fujian mountainous regions by further utilizing renewable energy sources and reducing building energy consumption,thus propose new approaches for the development and research of new local dwellings.Due to rigid demands on improving living conditions and the development of local economy,those local houses with cultural characteristics have been replaced by single concrete structure buildings.It is of great significance to develop design methods for local buildings which excavate the features of the local folk houses,meet the demands of the mountainous rural areas,rich in local features,integrate into local beautiful scenery,combine the modern culture elements with the traditional ones.
