Abstract/Summary:
Modern tram have good regional applicability and development in our country.Researching modern tram station distributing to determine reasonable distance between stations and optimize station distribution will be of great significance in improving investment benefits of modern tram system and promoting sustainable development of cities.At first,to provide theoretical basis for station distributing and optimization of distance between stations,this paper analyze the effects of modern tram station distribution on attracting passenger flow,passengers travel time,engineering cost,project operation and land development,as well as related factors which influence station distributing.Traction calculation shows that the minimum distance between modern tram stations is 0:631km for speed up to 70km/h,and rational distance between stations of modern tram usually is 0.5-0.9kmThen,on basis of cost-benefit analysis of modern tram system,aided to operation efficiency optimization and save passengers travel time,we established station distance optimization model from station engineering cost,operation cost(purchase cost of modern tram),operation benefits(fare revenue)and benefits of saving passengers travel time four parts.Empirical analysis of model is done by MATLAB programming and using related data of Chengdu IT avenue modern tram engineering.Calculation shows that the station distribution optimization model is applicable for different line length and the result is stable and consistent with engineering practice.Otherwise,the model is sensitive to the variation of station attraction radius and passenger flow volume.Finally,by studying modern tram application mode and applicability for road technical standards in cities,we clearly put forward principles of modern tram station distributing and proposed main methods of modern tram station filter,distributing and optimizing,which provide reference for developing modern tram.
