Flap-type string supporting grid structure is based on the flap-type grid structure on the introduction of tensegrity idea of combining the advantages of the flap-type grid structure of chords support grid structure,in domestic research literature is still blank.It has some theoretical research value.In this paper,the new campus of Hebei United University Gymnasium roof structure as the research object,expand the analysis of mechanical performance for flap-type string supporting grid structure and important nodes provide theoretical guidance for the design and construction of the actual project,but also for provide experience and reference design and analysis of similar projects in the future.In this paper,it outlines the span spatial structure and flap-type string support grid structure,introduced this topic engineering background,presents the main contents of this paper.Hebei United University New Campus Steel Roof support the use of flap-type string grid structure,the new architecture.Supporting the chord grid structure designed for static performance of the grid structure,the basic dynamic performance and flexibility and elastoplastic seismic performance and other aspects of analysis using finite element analysis method,to ensure safe and reliable structure and normal use requirements.Since the flap-type string truss structure supporting a large amount,in order to fully ensure security and stability in the construction process and to consider economic factors,the installation process is made more realistic grid of construction method with the operability and easy to implement.While using finite element analysis software to simulate the construction process,the results showed that the entire construction process is safe and reliable,on-site according to the proposed method of construction.In MIDAS in structural analysis and calculation,the general linear superposition analysis does not consider geometric nonlinearity,which is an approximate calculation method,the method for general structural design,the error brings is acceptable.But the structure of this string for higher levels of non-linear structure,this does not consider non-linear superposition method is applicable,has practicalsignificance.In this project flap-type string supporting grid structure nonlinear example whether comparative analysis shows that need to be considered when the flap-type string supporting grid structure design and analysis of nonlinear,linear superposition analysis results are more unreliable.According to the mechanical characteristics of the flap-type string supporting network structure for node structure was designed mainly welded spherical joints,since each node intersection rod ball more,using the ABAQUS finite element analysis software for grid winding mechanical properties of nodes,struts and grid connection node and cables and grid connection node and other analysis,structure shows good mechanical performance of each node,can ensure the safety of the structure of the connection is valid.
