The Research Of Marine Engine Room Monitoring And Alarm System Designing And Application

The ship engine room monitoring and alarm system is an important research direction of the ship automation,and it is the key technology of the ship to realize the unmanned engine room.Its working condition is very important to the reliability and economy of the ship's safe operation,to improve the operation and management efficiency,and ensure the safety of the ship and the crew.Based on the laboratory automation engine room project and the actual requirements of the project,the function of the engine room monitoring and alarm system was analysied,the overall structure was designed,the hardware was selected and the software program was designed.A set of monitoring and alarming system was designed,which was based on PLC technology,OPC technology,WPF technology and database technology.The paper describes the ship engine room monitoring and alarm system develop-ment process,the main contents include system function analysis,measurement schedule establishment,configuration selection,network design,power supply design,acquisition station control box design.Based on S7-300 PLC,PLC program was designed in the STEP 7 environment.The application program of marine engine room monitoring and alarm system was based on Visual Studio 2013 development platform,and the WPF application program was developed by using C#language.The interface was designed according to the principle of actual cabin system.The interface of application designed by WPF is not limited by the specific assumption of the screen resolution,and it can support the automatic telescopic function.The communication between the interface of application and PLC was realized by using OPC communication technology.At the same time,from the point of view of practical application,the paper expounds the design idea of the engine room monitoring and alarm system based on PLC.The system is designed to meet the functional requirements of the relevant specifications of the project.The system is applied to the project of the land automation engine room.The results show that the system is stable and reliable,and the interface is friendly.It provides a certain reference value for the research and design of engine room monitoring and alarm system.
