| With the development of large-scale shipbuilding in the world, there are more and more very large vessels passing through the Singapore Strait. In order to minimize the number of accidents in the Singapore Strait and to ensure the safety of life and property at sea,Comprehensive safety evaluation of very large vessel is important. At present, experts and scholars use different methods to evaluate the safety of the navigation environment of the Singapore Strait. The vessel navigation safety is closely related to vessel maneuverability. And the evaluation methods of navigational safety in Singapore Strait are mostly necessary to determine the weight. These methods are subjective. In order to solve these two problems, this paper takes into account the vessel maneuverability index in the process of establishing the evaluation index system and adopts the catastrophe theory evaluation method which does not need to determine the weight,so as to realize the safety evaluation of the very large vessel in the Singapore Strait. In the study,Firstly, based on the relevant literature, this paper combined with very large vessel maneuverability and the Singapore Strait’s natural environment, traffic environment, identify the impact of vessel safety risk factors, and identify the risk indicators studied in this paper.According to the relevant research results and expert opinions, risk indicators are arranged in order,so as to construct the evaluation index system. Then, according to the relevant literatures, combined with the actual navigation of the very large vessels in the Singapore Strait, the evaluation index level is divided into the evaluation criteria.Through the introduction of catastrophe theory, this paper constructs an evaluation model based on fuzzy catastrophe, and conducts comprehensive safety evaluation of very large vessel in the Singapore Strait. Finally, this paper makes an objective analysis of the evaluation results and puts forward the countermeasures of risk control.Through the analysis of the final evaluation results, confirmed the results are true and effective, proposed risk control measures based on the conclusions also have some reference. The results of this paper are an important complement to the study of the vessel navigation risk in the Singapore Strait. |
