In order to study the causes of blasting accidents in GRS solid propellant production process and to control the risk, the method of system engineering(hazard identification,BZA-2 method, failure tree analysis-analytic hierarchy process(FTA-AHP))and BP neural network simulation were used to analyze the causes and probability of blasting accidents. Two significantly hazardous processes which are kneading process and companding process were confirmed by hazards identification method.Through the analysis by the BZA-2 method, the hazard classes of the two process was obtained.Afterwards, the probability of the basic event of explosion accident were obtained by the combination of FTA and AHP.Finally, combined with the result of FTA,wording condition risk assessment LEC method was used to evaluate the basic events through expert-scoring system. Then sample data was obtained and the simulation database eatablished. The weights of the basic events were simulated by BP network and the simulated results had a high correlation coefficient when compared with the original data.On the basis of the above analysis, the risk control of blasting accidents was studied by combining the merits and backwards of each analysis method, which includes the following three aspects:formulation desensitization(add the deterrent, increase the particle size and moisture content),process safety optimization design, safety shield system. The pointed improvement measures of reducing the probability of occurrence of basic events and improving the intrinsic safety of production process were presented. The genesis study process and risk control method have a certain instructive significance for process optimization and safety management of similar propellant production line.
