Research The Settlement Forms Of The QuanZhou Coastal Defense Garrison In Ming Dynasty

The Ocean is a natural link connecting the economic and trade in the world,In the trend of global political and trade development,the ocean culture play an important role as national marine strategy.Chongwu fortress,as a national relic protection unit,locate in Huian country,Quanzhou city,Fujian province.it is the most completely stone city in China.It remains the military defense facilities of the garrison system in Ming dynasty as protect pirates.Chongwu fortress is the typical representative of the Quanzhou Coastal defense garrisons,it is facing series problem of protection and renewal in Fujian coastal economic development and urbanization process.This paper search settlement pattern characteristics of Quanzhou Coastal Defense in Ming Dynasty,taking Chongwu fortress as an example,provide help for the study of the marine cultural heritage of our country.This paper chooses Chongwu fortress of Ming dynasty as a key research,from the point of view of architecture,analyzing the location,internal security history,overall layout and settlement space and form features,and putting forward some constructive suggestions tn view of the current situation and existing problems.The first chapter mainly introduced the historical background of the topic,the basis and significance of the study.With the analysis on research achievement of QuanZhou coastal defense garrison in Ming dynasty,summing up the insufficiency of the existing achievement,establishing the research content,research framework and research methods of this paper.The second chapter,the author analysis the background of the Ming dynasty coastal defense construction,coastal defense system and the structure of the military establishment,introduce the Chongwu fortress climate,geographical features,the geographical characteristics and distribution of the Quanzhou coastal defense garrison and the historical evolution of Chongwu fortress according to the history books and local chronicles.The third chapter,the author analysis settlement forms of ChongWu fortress,from the perspective of architecture,explaining the characteristics of city site and plan,the settlement space、street space and belief space.The fourth chapter,the author analysis architectural forms of ChongWu fortress,including military defense architecture,religious ritual architecture,traditional dwellings,and analysis theirs construction characteristics,layout,space structure,material analysis.Finally,for the current situation and problems existing in ChongWufortress,the author analysis its value and put forward applicable suggestions of the protection and renewal strategy to the ChongWu fortress.The author tries to dig the unique geographical characteristics of the ChongWu fortress,which is closely contacted with topography,climate conditions,military defense.Through the analysis of the ChongWu fortress,explore the settlement characteristics of QuanZhou coastal defense garrisonin Ming dynasty.At the same time,ChongWu fortress study has an important significance to the Quanzhou coastal defense garrison due to its completely preserve.
