Study On The Regional Cultural Landscape Design Of Xixiang Tea Garden In Hanzhoung

China is the home of tea. Tea culture is derived and spread to the world here. As a new form of travel produced by the combination of tea culture and tourism, sightseeing tea garden has got a wide range of popularity. In the design of the tea garden landscape, geographical and cultural symbols should be used for the inheritance and development of the local special culture. But how to explore the regional culture? How to symbolize the regional culture and how to use symbols to inherit regional culture in the design of sightseeing tea garden? These have been the questions that the landscape designers have to think about.The author summarizes the way to extract regional culture and the way to use it in landscape design by using the methods of literature review, investigation and analysis, practice of argumentation under the help of theoretical researches on sightseeing tea garden and regional landscape, etc. Besides, the author puts forward the application of the regional cultural on Xixiang Hanzhong. The major results are as follows:First, the author explores the tactics, principles, features, methods, patterns and carriers of the regional landscape design by analyzing the theory and practice of the elements for regional culture. The design of regional cultural landscape should obey the following four principles:complying with the natural environment, inheriting the regional culture, adopting suitable technology, choosing the material rationally. Besides, the openness, the uniqueness, the initiative and the regional feature should be kept on the basis of integrality, ecological niche, sustainable development and regionalism. Finally, the regional culture should be shown through the carriers of overall design, landscape artistic conception, construction, paving, landscape sketch, plants, and water through space, texture, color, light, and symbols by using the methods of reproduction and abstract expression, contrast and fusion techniques, metaphors and symbolism, the application of ecology and digitization.Second, by investigating the natural environment, social environment and typical arts form, by visiting the regions and collecting materials, by reading the materials on regional environment and analyzing the current condition of the sightseeing tea garden, the author finds out the shortcomings of the tea garden planning in Xixiang country.Third, the author verifies the application of regional cultural elements in Xixiang sightseeing tea garden landscape by taking Dongyu Garden and Luozhen Garden LandscapePlanning and Design as an example. The author explores the way to apply regional culture in different carriers like construction, landscape sketch, water, plants through space, texture, color, light, and symbols. The author tries to find the way to integrate the tea garden function space and to expand local cultural connotation so as to enrich the design of landscape.
