In recent years,the construction industry and constantly improve the technological content of traditional design process is no longer able to meet the design requirements,construction technology of the customers become more complex and the skills requirement of construction workers are also increasing.BIM technology as a popular techniques of the construction project management in the world is suffering praises from the construction industry.Using BIM technology into the construction industry project management,you can reduce the risk of schedule delays,if applied correctly,you can shorten the construction period,the construction cost and also can save time,improve construction efficiency,in addition to the construction can create benefits,but also improve business efficiency and create great wealthes.However,since the BIM technology is originated from abroad,the development of BIM technology in our country have many obstacles,it's technology is immaturity,practical ability is limited,simply because the theory in our country is not mature.Thus,the theoretical research and application of universal of BIM technology in Construction Project Management is looming in our country.The article put BIM technology and construction project management as a research object,analysising the status quo of the BIM technology in construction applications and summarization of insufficient domestic of the BIM technology application and proposing countermeasures,highlighting the value of BIM technology in construction project management,as well as the development of BIM technology in China.Firstly,research the background and significance of research,explore the status of BIM technology at home and abroad construction project management,secondly,explore the basic theory of BIM technology and project management overview,analyzing the advantages of BIM technology,and lay out technology principle and explain the specific content of BIM technology and project management;and then analysis the BIM technology in construction project management application ideas and the process.Specificly explain the establishment and construction simulation of the 4D construction model;then show that barrier to our domestic application of BIM technology construction representation,propose solutions and strategies;and finally show Beijing Huilongguan Golden Mile,Washington building project as an example,analysis the project design and planning and construction process simulation,hope that the article's research on BIM technology can provide useful guidance for the developmen of our construction project management and technology research in the future.
