Research On The Project Management Objectives Responsibility System Of Trenchless Technology Project

MBO (Management By Object) was formally applied in China since the year of1978. Along with this introduction, the management system in Chinese cooperationchanged tremendously, including the Scientific Research Program and investmentproject, etc. Lately, combined MBO with Responsibility System, we have the Objectmanagement responsibility system, which swiftly adopted by the constructionbusiness and achieved great success.In this essay, we firstly pull-in the definition of Project Management and MBO,then we introduced the development of Project Management in China and the worldand illustrated the specific characters of the Project management in different methods,especially in the construction business. Discussing the positive role of aimresponsibility system in the business management and its encouraging effect to theemployees by researching the construction project management and Objectmanagement responsibility system. Analysis the the feasibility and possibility of theObject management responsibility system in the private enterprises through practicalcases. Also by the analyze, affirming the positive role of the Object managementresponsibility system in the small and medium trenchless projects. At the meantime,after the analysis and study to the real construction cases, we informed the questionsexisted in the progress and also with further solutions and advises.Following are the structure of this essay:The first chapter in this essay isintroduction. Introducing the research background and purpose. Specially introducethe development status of trenchless business as the bedding why we apply the Objectmanagement responsibility system in this business; Besides, we will briefly introducethe the development actuality of Object management responsibility system in the theworld. The second chapter is the related theory. We have three sections in this chapter.The construction project management, MBO and Objectcost managementresponsibility system will be summed up in section1. In section2we will introducethe Construction Project Management theory and in section3, we will talk about theProject Object responsibility system and Objectcost management responsibilitysystem. Chapter3is case analysis. We will introduce a private company which mainlyfocused on the city’s trenchless business, through the real construction cases we will analysis the application of Project Object responsibility system in project schedule,quality, cost and safety. In chapter4, base on the previous actual case and relatedtheory, we analysis the major problems in applying the Objectcost managementresponsibility system in practical cases, which generally displayed as lack ofexperiences in Objectcost management responsibility system, assignment failures ofproject managers, encouragement problems in the project staff and performancemanagement. Chapter5is the conclusion. We summarize with raising improvementsand the prospection for the future.
